The Commons at Spring Hill offers the best
in Location, Services and History
Spring Hill, TN, October 4, 2004 - - The Commons at Spring Hill is a new office, retail and warehouse property that offers a prosperous location, a supportive business community environment and a rich history.
The Commons is built on the Erksine and Edith Early property where the Early’s operated a mail-order specialty meat business for many years. The building was a landmark, not only as the operation for Early’s but also for the Apprentice Shop, a tenant from 1982 through 2000. The Apprentice Shop, a string instrument repair and manufacturing operation, was known worldwide. Both that building and the original Early home are now commercial space. An additional office/warehouse was constructed in 2002 to provide space for small businesses requiring minimal office area and significant warehouse and storage space. Another building – a replica 19th century gas station – was recently completed adding nostalgia, highway 31 footage and a prime opportunity for business. These four buildings provide over 13000 square feet of retail, office, recreation, and warehouse space and all construction utilizes traditional neighborhood development (TND), and preservation principles.
Both tenants and customers enjoy the environment provided in The Commons at Spring Hill. Steve Roebuck, owner of Roebuck Photography chose The Commons because of its prime location. “It’s a thriving location where the tenants and landlord all work together,” he says. “We wanted to be a part of that type of business community.” A recent visitor to The Commons, Nancy Brown-Johnston said, “The Commons brings a Franklin or Green Hill’s style within reach to Spring Hill customers.”
In addition to the location and the history, The Commons at Spring Hill is part of TownSpace™ Properties which provides a unique infrastructure meeting the needs of today’s small businesses. The Commons has planned merchant activities, an active merchant association, cooperative purchasing, advertising and publicity opportunities and management services including accounting, administrative and business consulting assistance.
Businesses currently located in the Commons at Spring Hill include All That Dance, Cannon Printing, The Framery, Joe’s Auto Repair, Kokomocha’s Coffee Café, Naturals, Priority Logistics Services and Roebuck Photography. Information on the property is available at 615-599-4944.
